Messi showed off the eye-catching new boots in a series of pictures on adidas' official Instagram page, with the caption on the post reading: "A little shine, a lot of genius." The Inter Miami captain has been partners with adidas since 2006, leading several F50 launches down the years, including the 2024 offering 'Triunfo Estelar’.
Speed is the design focus of the 2025 La Vida Rapida, which translates to 'The Fast Life'. The boot includes an electric colour scheme of “Silver Met/Solar Yellow/Lucid Blue” and jagged haptic lines below the laces replacing the smooth ones on previous editions. Meanwhile, a Sprintframe 360 soleplate has been added for stability and traction, a Hybridtouch Upper provides moulded comfort at high speeds, and Lightstrike Pro Foam has been transferred over from adidas' running shoes to aid endurance.

Messi said after unveiling the new F50s this week: "Developing my latest boot with adidas has been another incredible experience and I can’t wait to wear them on-pitch. I am also very grateful that all these young talents like the boots and want to wear them, and I’m excited to see how they perform."

The La Vida Rapida also includes the Argentina and Inter Miami forward's 'Messi +10' sign off, in a nod to the ten young players from the men's and women's games who will also wear the boots. Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal and USWNT forward Jaedyn Shaw head that list alongside Claudio Echeverri, Antonio Nusa, Joel Ndala, Cavan Sullivan, Vicky Lopez, Kenan Yildiz, Assan Quedraogo, and Eliesse Ben Seghir.

Messi will lace up the new boots for the first time when Inter Miami take on Orlando City in a friendly clash at Raymond James Stadium on Friday night. The Herons will then turn their attention to the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup first round tie against Sporting KC on February 18, which comes three days before the club's 2025 MLS season opener against New York City.
