Leeds United fan favourite Samu Saiz has returned to training after a hamstring injury and supporters couldn’t be more excited, with some believing he could be the catalyst for a strong end to the season in the English Championship.
The club posted a photo of the attacking midfielder’s return to training on Wednesday evening, with manager Paul Heckingbottom confirming in his press conference he is in line to feature against Bolton Wanderers tomorrow night.
Saiz missed out on Leeds’ defeat to Sheffield Wednesday before the international break and his return will boost Heckingbottom’s options in attack, with the player scoring nine and creating six assists this season.
The Elland Road outfit don’t have much to play for as the English Championship season comes to a conclusion but a strong series of results would allow them to head into the summer with confidence.
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Saiz’s injury news…
